Voters have approved the five-year operating referendum.
We are
deeply grateful for the community's support of education and we appreciate all of the staff and families who voted Tuesday. MPSD is committed to helping all students grow and achieve. This funding will help us continue to provide high-quality academic and extracurricular opportunities for all students.
The district and board will continue to advocate for changes to state funding formulas so MPSD and districts across the state will not need to rely on operational referendums to maintain programs and services. If the state increases aid to districts in the next five years, MPSD's board can opt to not use referendum dollars that are no longer needed.
