Food prices
As the cost of living increases, school meals are still a great value both nutritionally and economically!

MPSD is participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2022-23 school year. CEP allows us to serve a FREE breakfast and lunch to all students each school day regardless of Free & Reduced eligibility. If a student chooses to take milk without taking a complete breakfast or lunch meal, ala carte milk charges will apply and the student’s food service account will be charged 45¢ for each milk.

Al a Carte options are available at the Middle and High Schools for students to purchase additional food items with cash or from their lunch account. Parents have the option to complete an A la Carte Restriction Form to limit their students purchases.

Free & Reduced ApplicationFamilies are encouraged to apply for Free and Reduced Meals yearly to see if they qualify for discounted pricing.  This application process is confidential.  Here is more information on the Free and Reduced Program.
