General Deadline for Declaring Candidacy

A candidate needs to file a Declaration of Candidacy form and a Campaign Finance Registration Statement with the school district clerk. Candidacy packets can be picked up at the MPSD Administration Office, 2902 Lindbergh Drive, Manitowoc between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (please note the Administration Office is closed between 11:15 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.). Completed forms must be returned to the Administration Office no later than 5:00 p.m. the first Tuesday in January.

School Board Organizational Meeting
The MPSD School Board holds a special meeting for the purpose of election of officers and orientation of newly elected members on or following the fourth Monday of April and before the regular Board meeting on the second Tuesday of May. Every effort is made to schedule the meeting at a time when all members can be present.
