Education Department

The MPSD Education Department takes pride in being knowledgeable and approachable for staff, students and parents in promoting growth and development through learning.  

The Education Department team consists of Jason Bull, Pam Lensmire, Sara Disch and Tiffany Gates.

  • Supervises the process of curriculum development and implementation
  • Oversees student evaluation and testing programs
  • Provides leadership in planning and facilitating the integration of educational technology
  • Assists Superintendent in the supervision of building principals
  • Plans and provides professional development for district staff in promoting high quality student performance
  • Oversees program coordinators, specialists and department heads
  • Coordinates Title I and II programs
  • Compiles and maintains the instructional budget for the district
  • Coordinates the district's standardized testing program and the analysis, interpretation and reporting requirements
  • Assists Superintendent in the supervision of building principals
  • Organizes and implements professional development days for staff
  • DPI Reporting for Civil Rights Data Collection, Civil Rights Data Compliance and Pupil Non-Discrimination Compliance Report

Lori supports the instruction and learning of high levels of math for all learners 4K through 12 by:

  • Providing and coordinating professional development on best practices in math instruction to teachers
  • Helping teachers match math interventions and/or enrichements to specific student needs
  • Collaborating with district administrators to ensure connections among math programming from grade to grade
