Personalized Pathways. Purposeful Progress.
About Achieve
Achieve is designed for students who need a flexible, personalized path toward earning a traditional high school diploma. Whether students are catching up on credits, balancing work or family responsibilities, or simply benefit from a different learning environment, Achieve provides the support, accountability, and individualized planning needed to reach graduation.
Students work closely with educators and graduation coaches to create a plan that keeps them moving forward while preparing for life beyond high school.
What Learning Looks Like
Teacher-Led Learning
Students participate in daily instruction aligned with Wisconsin Academic Standards while also building practical life skills in financial literacy, employability, and postsecondary planning. Small-group instruction allows teachers to personalize learning and provide additional support when needed.
Competency-Based Learning
Students demonstrate what they know through authentic projects, digital portfolios, and performance-based assessments rather than relying solely on traditional seat time. Flexible pacing allows students to move forward as they demonstrate mastery of essential learning goals.
Graduation Coaching
Every student is paired with a Graduation Coach who helps monitor academic progress, review graduation requirements, develop career plans, and provide ongoing encouragement throughout the student's journey toward graduation.
Flexible Pathways to Graduation
Achieve recognizes that every student's path looks different.
Depending on a student's individual needs, academic progress, and graduation plan, students may participate in personalized options such as:
- Competency-Based Learning
- Credit Recovery
- Wisconsin GED Option #2 (for eligible students)
Each option is designed to help students continue working toward earning a traditional high school diploma while receiving individualized support.
Real-World Readiness
Learning extends beyond the classroom.
Students are encouraged to connect their education to future goals through employment, community service, career exploration, and postsecondary planning. These experiences help students build responsibility, workplace skills, and confidence while preparing for life after graduation.
Who Is Achieve For?
Achieve may be a good fit for students who:
- Need a flexible path toward graduation.
- Are working to recover credits.
- Benefit from personalized instruction and pacing.
- Balance school with employment or other responsibilities.
- Want additional support while working toward earning a traditional high school diploma.
Preparing for Graduation and Beyond
Achieve is more than earning credits.
Students graduate with the academic knowledge, workplace skills, and confidence needed to pursue college, technical education, military service, or employment. Along the way, they develop independence, responsibility, and the ability to advocate for themselves as they prepare for their next chapter.
