The Ships Gymnastics team is a no-cut program with a strong emphasis on TEAM. Everyone who joins has a part to play. All skill levels of 9th – 12th graders are welcome to join. Ships Gymnastics provides the opportunity to participate at the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Exhibition levels.
The season begins the first or second Monday of November ending with the WIAA State Tournament the first weekend in March. Practices begin at 3:45pm and run until 6:00pm, weekdays and 8:30am-10:30am, on the weekend. The Ships belong to the Eastern Valley Gymnastics Conference-a conference that was specifically created for northeast Wisconsin high school gymnastics teams. The conference consists of Kaukauna, Oshkosh, Markesan, Sheboygan and Valders/Roncalli. These dual meets are held on Monday or Tuesday evenings with the conference season ending with a Conference Championship meet. The WIAA hosts a Sectional meet where the top 2 teams and the top 5 individuals on each event qualify for the State meet. The team also competes in area invites held on Saturdays. The WIAA State Individual and Team Championships take place in Wisconsin Rapids the weekend after the WIAA Sectional Meet.
