The MPSD Virtual School provides a flexible, student-centered learning option for grades 8–12, designed to meet the diverse needs of learners who thrive outside the traditional classroom.
Program Features
- Fully Virtual Learning Pathways Students can complete all coursework online through an asynchronous format, no required live sessions or standard school-day hours.
- Partial Virtual/Hybrid Schedules Ideal for students blending in-person and virtual courses or needing credit recovery options.
- Self-Paced Learning Allows for independent progression through coursework, giving students control over when and how they learn.
Who is this for? This option is ideal for students who:
- Have medical needs or health concerns
- Struggle with attendance
- Prefer a self-paced, independent learning environment
- Need to recover credits or adjust their academic trajectory
Support & Supervision All virtual students receive:
- Guidance and academic support from a dedicated Virtual Programming Teacher/Interventionist
MPSD Asynchronous Virtual School Option (Grades 8–12)
- Regular check-ins and optional in-person support with Mr. Noe, who also offers scheduled office hours at the school building

- Delivered through Imagine Learning
- Fully aligned with MPSD academic standards
- Accessible anytime, anywhere—coursework is 100% asynchronous

- Participation in school wide service learning days
- Invitations to school events and activities
- In-person support and orientation available throughout the year
Orientation Days At the beginning of the school year, students and families will:
- Pick up devices
- Review program expectations
- Learn how to navigate the virtual learning platform
