Since 1953, Franklin Elementary has been a place where students are encouraged to learn, belong, and discover their potential.
Welcome to Franklin Elementary School! For more than 70 years, Franklin has been a place where students are encouraged to learn, grow, and discover their potential. Today, Franklin serves students in kindergarten through fourth grade as part of the Manitowoc Public School District.
While generations of students proudly called themselves Falcons, Franklin is now part of MPSD's unified Ships family. We honor the traditions that have shaped our school while embracing a shared commitment to excellence, belonging, and student success.

A Legacy Worth Celebrating
Franklin Elementary has served generations of Manitowoc families since opening its doors in 1953.
Though our mascot has transitioned from the Falcons to the Ships, the heart of Franklin has never changed. We continue to honor the traditions, relationships, and school pride that have made Franklin a special place for more than seven decades.
