We are here for YOU!

The Monroe School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) exists to help improve the education of ALL Monroe Mustangs.

Goals for this year include:

  • Help pay the cost of field trips.
  • Fund Mrs. Tooley from "Art in a Suitcase" because she provides science enrichment twice a year to every class at Monroe.
  • Create a supply closet available to students in need.
  • Host several family engagement activities including the annual Pancake Breakfast, Bingo Night, Rollaire Skate Night, etc.
  • Assist the Monroe Librarian with the Book Fair.
  • Run the Holiday Treasures Shop.
  • Provide a meal for staff during Parent/Teacher Conferences.
  • Raising funds for new rugs for several classrooms.
  • Improve the playground equipment

We’d love for YOU to join our team!

We are a group of parents, teachers and staff volunteers who work together to help make Monroe School a fun place for students to learn and grow.

The PTA meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6pm in the library. There is FREE childcare available during the meetings.  We are always looking for new voices and ideas to continue to improve our PTA.

How can YOU help us to help the Monroe Community?

  • Participate in the school fundraisers.
  • Collect box tops.
  • Volunteer to help at an event.
  • Shop at the fall book fair
  • Enjoy a meal at Culver’s when the proceeds benefit Monroe.

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or ideas, please contact us!  Thanks in advance for supporting the Monroe Mustangs.

Sincerely,

Your 2024-2025 PTA Officers,

President –Melinda Schreiber
Vice President –Crystal Hanson
Secretary –Melissa Hippert
Treasurer –Kristin Donahue
