Welcome to Jefferson Elementary!

Hi, I’m Lisa Delsman, and I’m honored to have joined the Jefferson Team as Principal in 2023. I am a proud graduate of Lincoln High School and continued my education at UW-LaCrosse, where I earned my bachelor’s degree. Later on, I pursued my passion for education further by earning my master’s degree in special education and administration, which has given me the tools to support all students in their learning journeys.

When I’m not at school, I’m usually outdoors, enjoying the beauty of nature. Whether it’s tending to my garden, going for a walk, shooting my bow, or hiking with my husband, I’m always looking for new ways to stay active and connect with the world around me. One of our big goals is to visit all the state parks in our area and explore the many beautiful waterfalls Wisconsin has to offer.

But I’m also happy to spend time inside, where you’ll likely find me in the kitchen. Cooking is something I absolutely love, and I’m always experimenting with new recipes or preparing meals for my family.

I truly look forward to meeting you and working with your learner at Jefferson. Together, we’ll make this a year of growth, discovery, and success!
