Transition Day - August 29th - what a great opportunity!   

Are you entering Kindergarten, 6th grade, 9th grade or are you new to our middle or high school?  Then come meet us on Transition Day - August 29th!  Here's what to expect:

Kindergarten students will spend the morning at their school getting to know their classroom teachers, as well as other members of the staff. Students will have the opportunity to get to know the school building and learn important routines too!

Discover what it means to be a Franklin Falcon, Jefferson Griffin, or Madison Cougar from 8:10-11:10am! Discover what it means to be a Jackson Jaguar, Monroe Mustang or Riverview Raptor from 8:40-11:40.  

Riverview 4K Students - There will not be a transition day for you, but we are excited to meet you on Tuesday, August 30th!

Washington 6th Graders and NEW 7th and 8th gradersWe are excited to be welcoming our Class of 2029 to our Washington Middle School Learning Community! During our Sixth Grade Transition Day Orientation, August 29, 2022, students will have the opportunity to learn about Washington's school culture, tour the building, make new friends, receive a chromebook, play games, become part of our PACK, and meet the teachers and staff of our building! We look forward to having your student join our learning community! Doors open at 7:45am (enter through the gym entrance) and your adventure ends at 3pm.

Wilson 6th Graders or new 7th & 8th Graders -
The Wilson Middle School WEB experience on Monday, August 29, is designed to provide a warm welcome for all incoming 6th grade students, as well as all new-to-Wilson 7th and 8th grade students. During our time together, students will meet their WEB leaders and teachers, make new friends, learn their way around Wilson, practice using the cafeteria, and most importantly, begin their Warhawk flight by learning the Warhawk Way. Our 6th grade students will stay all day (from 7:45-3pm), while our new 7th and 8th grade students will join us at 7:45am and be dismissed at 12:30, after they have eaten lunch. (Bussing will be provided in the morning and at 3:00pm only. Please contact Wilson Middle School if your child is a new 7th or 8th grader who will not have transportation at 12:30pm.) We cannot wait to meet you all!

Lincoln 9th Graders - We are incredibly excited to welcome the class of 2026 to Lincoln High School Learning Community.  During our transition day,  students will be separated into two groups.  Last name starting with A-J and all students needing bussing will be in the morning group.  Doors will open at 7:45 AM.  Students with last names starting with K-Z will be in the afternoon starting at 11:30 in the JFK, doors will open at 11:10.  Students will be led through “A Day at Lincoln” by our Leadership Team.  Students will participate in team building, they will learn our schedule, walk through lunch processes, meet staff, learn about clubs and activities, and get to know the building.  Lunch will be provided for all students.  #shipsailtogether!

McKinley Students - Welcome new students. Students that are in a 100% virtual setting will be invited by their teachers to join in the classroom through the google classroom. Students that are enrolled in face to face learning will come to the Stangel Learning Community to meet with your teachers and transition to your new learning community. Students in both the virtual and face to face learning platforms will learn about their daily schedule, instructional models, and engage in some fun activities with our McKinley teachers. The excitment runs from 8-3pm for grades K-8 and 9-3pm for grades 9-12.
